WHAT DEVELOPMENT ROLES DO TANZANIAN COMMUNITIES ABROAD PLAY TO THEIR COUNTRY

the 9th of december is yearly marked as Tanzania Independence Day with the national celebration in the country also a lot and different kind of celebrations to all the Tanzanians around the world. this reflects a lot to country's history since it became independent in 1961.

This year we have seen Tanzanian Community in Bradford celebrating the country independence day by promoting the country profile and tourism sector through a public lecture at the University of Bradford. The Bradford Community was able to learn a lot of Tanzania beauty and efforts done by its leaders to maintain Peace, Respect and Unity (as symbolized by THE UHURU TOURCH) in the country and across boarders. through out the lecture non-Tanzanians could not believe when assured Mount Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania.Through questions and answers session even majority from west Africa could not hide their misbelief when told Mount Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania and not as how they thought before. but the audience was told you can also be able to see the mountain when in one of the neighbouring country. the audience went ahead and call upon Tanzanians to add more effort to let the world know where exactly the mount Kilimanjaro is.

We congratulate Tanzanian Community in Bradford for playing such a patriotic role of which will promote the country and make Tanzania well known with its resources. Tanzanians abroad have to utilize the opportunity of being where they are to promote the country. our Government needs support on this and we should play our part effectively as responsible citizens.

As the example has been set by Tanzanian Community in Bradford what development roles do other Tanzanian Communities abroad play to their country.Do you have any idea of any Tanzanian Community abroad which has done any awareness kind of event to reflect our country development?if yes let us give them a BIG UP, if no what do you think these Communities should start doing to participate on development activities of our country.

REMEMBER ITS TANZANIANS TO PROMOTE TANZANIA.
